What is the movie about?
All Things New is the true story of how God radically changed four young boys through Ken and Angelica Oosting and the discipling ministry they started in the Philippines called Christians’ Haven. Discipleship is the intellectual focus; serving others the way Jesus did is the heart focus. This story will touch you deeply.

If the movie was made in the Philippines, will it interest an American audience?
Without a doubt, this movie will appeal to Americans of all ages. Not every movie appeals to everyone, but this movie will motivate you to make a difference.

How can my church use this movie?
Your church can use All Things New in a variety of ways.
- If you want to emphasize missions, All Things New can help your congregation to visually see the drastic changes they can be a part of when they support missions.
- Discipleship is a word that is being used more and more in churches, especially among younger people. What does discipleship look like – sitting in a classroom looking up scriptures? Jesus was the perfect model for us today, and His hands-on style of discipleship is the backbone of All Things New. Via All Things New, viewers get to see a vivid picture of discipleship in today’s context.
- Maybe you are looking for a project to raise funds for an upcoming mission trip, a youth group project, or another outreach goal. All Things New is being distributed as a fund-raising event to help you achieve your goals.

How does the fundraising event work?
- First, you choose to participate in the fund-raising event, agree to the terms of the licensing agreement and send it to us with a $100 deposit.
- Next, choose a venue and negotiate a price to show the movie. Mondays or Tuesdays are recommended, as they are usually cheaper. You may also want to include a matinee – depending on the time of year for your event.
- Use the tools in the kit to advertise the screening and sell tickets. The more kinds of advertising you can do, the better. Put up posters, use free community calendars on local radio stations, have people put it on their Web sites, etc. Be creative!
- We recommend selling tickets at the same price that the cinema sells them. If you believe you can sell them for more, go for it. The breakdown between your church and the ministries after expenses is 50/50. If you have Excel, the financial agreement form will make it easy, as it calculates all of this for you.
- We also have figured a family rate so that families can enjoy the movie without breaking their budget.
(A family unit is defined as parents and children living in one household.)
- Family Ticket Package of up to 5 tickets - $25.00
- Additional Family Tickets - $5.00

How much money can we raise?
Tip: You may also want to consider also other “theater-like” venues. Many colleges and universities have small theaters available to rent. In addition, some businesses and other organizations may have similar facilities available, especially if they are aware of the focus of the movie and how the proceeds will be used. Showing a movie made overseas, an artsy movie, or other special interest movies in such venues is common and may be more economical.
- All your expenses (including your deposit) will come right off the top of the total dollar amount you raise. After that, you keep half, and the other half is mailed to GNPI. We will then send half of that to Christians’ Haven.
- When negotiating a price with a theater, you may talk about a “per seat” price, but understand that the full price you pay the cinema will be the price for a sell out. Example: if you negotiate a price of $2.00 per seat, and the theater has 100 seats, you will pay the cinema $200 regardless of how many tickets you actually sell.
- The price you pay for your venue will be considered an expense, and it will come out of the income before the funds are split.
- We don’t recommend showing it in your church building. “Gospel films” and those traditionally shown in churches have a certain stereotype that is almost impossible to rise above. People will see All Things New from a different perspective and have a harder time paying for a ticket if it is shown in a church building.
